Effective Promotional Mailings
Mailings of Promotional Products often dramatically improves response rates for campaigns involving other media like print advertising. A study was conducted in 1996 with a national tile distributor and their efforts to integrate promotional products into their existing print media campaign. A known sample of subscribers were then polled on the results. Findings:

- An impressive 9.55% response rate was achieved when a direct mail package was sent out that contained a promotional product incentive (a calculator).
- Of the respondents who received a promotional product or incentive offer, 67% said that the direct mail piece was responsible for their response.
